Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a
condition that seems to be more and more prevalent in recent years.
The question is, Is it becoming more prevalent or is it just getting diagnosed
more?
A diagnosis for ADHD should only be made if other medical problems are ruled
out, but is that being done?
The distribution of ADHD medication has increased by 5000% in Australia, since
2002. Doesn't this suggest that the medication is being more loosely prescribed?
Who benefits from these prescriptions? The drug companies do.
Does your child?
This seminar will teach you much more about the synthetic drugs used to treat
symptoms of ADHD and their side effects. You will also see how to deal with your
child NATURALLY!

ADD/ADHD is a 'Neurotransmitter Deficiency' or 'An
Imbalance in the Brain Chemistry'!
The Three Main Causes of Neurotransmitter Deficiencies and
Imbalanced Brain Chemistry are: genetic, stress and diet!
"If we eliminate the STRESS (chemical, and emotional), and if
we fix the DIET, we can, in most cases, get off 'RITALIN' and other harmful
drugs!"

Nutritional Problems and Toxic Exposure
A growing number of children and adults eat and drink junk
foods high in toxins and depleted in nutrients. Routine blood tests, such as
those conducted by a GP, detect only obvious factors (e.g. anaemia) and tend to
miss more subtle problems behind hyperactivity and poor concentration (e.g. zinc
deficiency or lead poisoning).
Nutritional deficiencies
- Iron-deficiency anaemia
- Hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar)
- Vitamin and/or mineral deficiencies (most commonly, zinc,
magnesium, iron, copper, calcium, vitamin B3,5,6,12, vitamin C)
- Other excesses or deficiencies (hydrochloric acid depletion
from Cola drinks, amino acids, essential fatty acids, digestive enzymes)
Additives in prepared foods, fast food and fizzy drinks
- Colourings (most commonly, Tartrazine, Sunset Yellow, Amaranth,
Brilliant Black, Cochineal Red)
- Flavour enhancers (monosodium glutamate often hides under many other
names, e.g. 'hydrolysed vegetable protein')
- Artificial flavourings
- Preservatives
- Salicylates Food allergies
- Lactose intolerance
- Yeast intolerance (candidiasis)
- Other intolerance to a specific food Toxic exposure
- Lead (often in paint chips and dust; can be in the dirt or old
plumbing)
- Mercury (floors of houses and apartments)
- Carbon monoxide (heating systems)
- Harmful chemicals in the personal care products
- Air pollutants
- Pesticides
- Radiation (e.g. TV/computers)
- Organophosphates (e.g. in sheep dip)
